Neptune Care 2024: Reflecting on a Year of Growth and Support for People with Parkinson’s

In this blog post, we would like to look back at the year 2024, which was a busy one for us, and draw attention to our early access initiative for our solution with a Garmin smartwatch.

Inspiring stories

We attended great events and found strong partners for the future, for example we were at the Ping Pong Parkinson German Open in May 2024 and were very inspired and grateful to get to know this sport and the players better.

As part of our Early Access Program and our initiative Own Garmin! Neptune service for free! we have had many points of contact with people with Parkinson’s. We are delighted to see how Neptune Care helps them to better understand and actively manage their disease. Their positive attitude is an inspiration to us all and exactly the reason why we at Orbit do what we do every day!

A year of growth and learning

In 2023, we launched the Early Access Program for Neptune Care, where people with Parkinson’s had the opportunity to test our solution for free. We are overwhelmed by the positive feedback and the many inspiring stories we have heard.

The testers helped us to implement two major updates that make Neptune Care even more intuitive and effective. We would like to thank all participants who helped us to optimize this tool.

Together into the future

Thanks to the support of our community and the progress made this year, we are convinced that Neptune Care is more than just a tool – it is a partner that supports, empowers and connects people with Parkinson’s and their families.
